The Bystanders
by Michael Levy
As I tread the cemetery grounds
The sound of the lifeless lecture
through marble stones,
Deceits permeated time,
Defrauds congested space,
Now silence fills the soil, the dirt,
Love & joy, the bystanders, look on
with tears in their eye...
Their power unused.
