sophistry, palmistry,
subtle astrology,
psychosis;
    vocal paralysis (one slips
    into a scream not to
    escape)
addiction might give rise
to abduction.
habit is the mother of invasion.

arborescent, ephemeral, a parasite.
talk of the shape
of a body in prayer,
intoning incantations.

tie a knot in the end of love:
no spectacular falls nor
drops of dried blood;
the form of something
that turns back on itself,
ensuring its end.

ascension, assumption, transfiguration:
envy and the attempt to
transcend flesh;
once, while walking,
we observed a bright light.
